Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Supporters,

I am deeply honored to announce my selection as a candidate for Blood Cancer United’s 2026 Visionary Award. This nomination is a recognition of my long-standing career as a pioneer in the arts and small business entrepreneurship space, and it provides a critical platform for a cause that is immensely personal.

The Purpose of This Campaign

As many of you know, I am fiercely passionate about serving as an activist for the African-American arts and small business community. I see this Visionary Award campaign as a powerful opportunity to leverage my network and platform to support those in our community facing the immense financial and healthcare burdens of a blood cancer diagnosis.

This cause is deeply personal. My family has endured significant loss due to cancer, starting with the tragic passing of my father when I was ten. Most recently, my wife's stepmother was taken by Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) this past year. AML is an aggressive disease, and the difficulty of navigating treatment is severely compounded when essential support, healthcare, and funds are unavailable.

How You Can Join the Fight

I am now asking for your support to help me reach my fundraising goal for Blood Cancer United. Your contribution will directly aid individuals and families navigating this traumatic process.

There are two critical ways you can join this campaign:

  1. Become an Ambassador: Help amplify our mission by sharing the campaign with your network. Please click here for details on how to become a campaign ambassador.

  2. Make a Financial Contribution: Every donation—no matter the size—makes a tangible difference in providing crucial support. You can donate via [Insert Donation Link Here].

Corporate Funding: If you have access to corporate giving, grants, or employer matching programs, my team would be grateful to schedule a brief call to discuss potential partnership opportunities. Please reply directly to this email if you can facilitate an introduction.

Thank you in advance for your generosity, leadership, and prompt support of this vital campaign.

If you have any questions please contact my Executive Assistant, Nailah Herbert!

Sincerely,

Okeeba Jubalo
